SEASONS | Autumn 2023 makes promising comeback, shines the spotlight on fashion jewellery and accessories trends

International buyers drive 74% of total attendance
in fair’s September edition

HONG KONG, 13 November 2023SEASONS | Autumn Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair made a promising return from 20 to 24 September, attracting 4,863 buyers from 109 countries and regions, with an outstanding 74% comprising attendees from outside Hong Kong and Mainland China. This figure underscored the B2B show’s importance as a prominent destination for sourcing the latest trends in the world of fashion accents and ornaments on an international scale.

Held in Hall 5B of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and co-located with the biggest jewellery show of the year – Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW) – SEASONS | Autumn marked its first outing since 2019 with renewed energy, introducing fresh and exciting directions for the fashion jewellery and accessories sector.

The event showcased an abundance of trends that left attendees inspired and engaged. Featuring the participation of 170 exhibitors from seven countries and regions, SEASONS | Autumn presented a wide variety of collections, ranging from eye-catching statement pieces to understated minimalist styles. The offerings extended beyond fashion jewellery and accessories to include components and packaging, providing a comprehensive sourcing experience for visitors.

Furthermore, the Fall Edition delivered a seminar series covering a broad range of topics, including a session emphasising the significance of adopting environmentally conscious practices, highlighting both the urgency and the opportunities associated with sustainability. Additionally, the seminars explored the outlook for the ASEAN fashion jewellery and accessories market, as well as the distinct aesthetics, designs and motifs that define fashion jewellery in China.

“We extend our heartfelt thanks to our exhibitors, visitors and partners whose collective dedication and passion has made SEASONS | Autumn a pivotal event in the fashion jewellery and accessories industry. Looking ahead, our show will continue to drive the discovery of emerging trends, forge valuable industry connections and fuel the growth of the global fashion jewellery and accessories market,” commented David Bondi, Senior Vice President of Informa Markets in Asia.

Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets Jewellery, shared that SEASONS goes beyond being just another show; it is an adventure.

“Our main goal is to ensure that SEASONS provides an energising and inspiring experience for all attendees. To achieve this, we are committed to introducing innovative concepts in the fair’s forthcoming editions,” Lau said.

SEASONS is held biannually, with editions in Spring and Fall.

In 2024, SEASONS | SPRING will take place from 28 February to 2 March in Halls 3 and 6 of the AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE). The fair’s compelling destinations will be named after their core product selections, namely Fashion Essentials (costume and base metal jewellery), Steel Glam (stainless steel jewellery), Natural Beauty (natural materials jewellery), Fashion Accents (fashion accessories), The Artisans (independent designers) and That’s A Wrap (display and packaging).

Addressing the experiential needs of professional buyers, the Spring Edition will make a comeback with its signature attractions, including the Networking Hub fuelled by a seminar programme and an abundance of product launches from the most competitive suppliers hailing from Mainland China, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines and more. Adding to the excitement are new featured attractions including the Korea Pavilion; the Vogue showcase of trends for Fall/Winter 2024-2025 and beyond; the Tomorrow Aisle displaying young designers’ creations and the SEASONS Society zone highlighting sustainability in the industry.
