HONG KONG, 19 March 2024 – Product launches, networking opportunities and new attractions combined to deliver a positive sourcing experience for international trade buyers at SEASONS | Spring Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair, show organiser Informa Markets Jewellery announced today.
Ending its four-day run on 2 March, the industry’s first B2B marketplace of the year in Asia connected the sector’s buying power with exhibitors and brands from Mainland China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines and Taiwan. The fair drew more than 3,500 buyers from 88 countries and regions, primarily led by an influx of attendees from Asia, Europe and the Americas, among others.
“Buyers explicitly expressed to us the undeniable value and importance of connecting with their existing suppliers and new vendors in person at SEASONS | Spring,” said Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets Jewellery. “Ultimately, the sourcing process revolves around experiencing products firsthand, making unexpected discoveries and encounters, and the thrill of simply being there, which can only happen at physical events.”
The fair unveiled a wide array of product lines across five categories. These encompassed Fashion Essentials, featuring a diverse range of costume and base metal jewellery; Steel Glam, showcasing edgy designs primarily crafted from stainless steel and complemented by natural materials; Natural Beauty, highlighting collections incorporating organic elements; Fashion Accents, presenting a variety of trendy accessories, and That’s A Wrap, offering display and packaging options.
In addition to showcasing new collections, SEASONS | Spring launched the Korea Pavilion, Vogue (dedicated to trending colours and patterns for the Fall/Winter 2024 – 2025 season in collaboration with Pantone), the Tomorrow Aisle (featuring emerging design talents from the Pro-Act Training and Development Centre and Youth College) and SEASONS Society (dedicated to environmentally conscious approaches in fashion jewellery design and manufacturing).
The fair’s Networking Hub hosted industry experts who shared market-relevant insights, inspirations and the latest trends in colour palettes and accessories. The session speakers were Aiden Xiao, Managing Director of Cloud Original; Boxing Ma, Jewellery Business Manager at Shein Group; Jo Kwok, Stylist from Taiwan-based Mixture; Karen Ho, Senior Business Development Manager at Pantone, and Matthieu Rochette-Schneider, General Manager of Centdegrés China.
SEASONS is held biannually, with editions in Spring and Fall.
SEASONS | AUTUMN will take place from 18 to 22 September 2024 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). It will run concurrently with the biggest B2B fine jewellery and gemstone show in the world, Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW).
SEASONS | SPRING 2025 will return to Halls 3 and 6 of the AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) from 3 to 6 March. |

“I am very happy to be back in Hong Kong. I already found a new supplier and we have started doing business.” – Xenofon Adamopoulos, Managing Director of Arteon (Greece)
“To build a unique product portfolio that others cannot copy, I source from a wide variety of suppliers and choose what’s trending. I’ve been attending SEASONS shows for many years because I can visit existing suppliers and meet new potential manufacturers here, all in one place. I source all my products through trade shows because it’s important to feel the products and try them on before deciding what to order. This has been a very successful show for me.” – Bianca Kangisser, Owner of Bianc (Australia)
“The good thing about trade shows like SEASONS is you can walk around, meet people and discover products. You need to see everything. More importantly, when you place your orders at the show, you can modify your orders. It is so much easier to communicate this in person. Some may assume that finding good products online would be easier, but this is not always true. Certain products may differ in thickness or thinness, and you cannot accurately tell from the pictures alone. In reality, the products may be different from the photos.” – Gianluca Boveri and Sara Filipponi, Owners of Latitude New (Italy)
“We made our first trip here 15 years ago. Coming here was our way of introducing ourselves to China-based suppliers. After the fair, we will go to China to work directly with our suppliers. Normally, we want to be in the factory because it is easier, and we will have more time. The fair provides us with the opportunity to make new contacts and meet with suppliers whom we cannot visit in person at their factories, and also to say ‘hello’ to the ones that we will see next week.” – Nico Carreras, Owner of BLUECONCEPT S. L. (Spain)
“It is not just the jewellery; it is also about the people. There are individuals here whom I haven’t seen in five years, yet they remember me and I remember them. It’s very good to see them. It’s also very nice to see people who’ve been working in the same company for five years. It makes you feel the factory values the employees and that it’s a special place that they want to be. It’s a good feeling. It gives you confidence. You build a relationship and a relationship is based on trust.” – Ari Mahller, Owner of West Coast Jewelry (US)
“On the first day of the show, I said hello to my existing suppliers and we were all very happy to see each other! The tourism season starts in April and runs until October-November in Greece, which means I have seven to eight months to sell what I will buy at this fair. I sell to everyone [wholesalers, retailers and chain stores] in Greece.” – Damianos Lazaridis, Managing Director of Perideo Group (Greece)
“Seeing people face to face is about the relationship – the working relationship. You talk so much more about everything else in life when you see people face to face.” – Sarah Jane Watmore, Owner of Miss Milly Limited (UK) |

Here’s the feedback from EXHIBITORS about SEASONS | Spring 2024: |

|
“This is the third time we’ve participated in the show. The visitor traffic and overall visitor quality are both quite good. We’ve met customers from the US, Europe and Southeast Asia. Through our conversations with the buyers, we find that the market is recovering. We look forward to the next SEASONS show!” – Melody Liu, Product Manager of Shenzhen Saidiwei Jewelry Co Ltd (China)
“We are very happy to start again after the pandemic. The show is like a melting pot, with people from all over the world coming to Hong Kong to check out all kinds of products.” – Lucia De Belen, Managing Director of Unijel International Trading Inc (Philippines)
“Participating in trade shows is very important for us to expand overseas markets. This show has been good for us, partly because we took great care in preparing our product lineup before the fair. We have met customers from the United States. There are also big buyers inquiring about larger order quantities. We will participate again in SEASONS | Spring 2025.” – Nancy Liu, Director of Puying Jewelry (China)
“This is a valuable show. This is the first time I have participated in the fair and we are getting a lot of compliments from buyers on our products. We will definitely come here again because we got so many orders from new buyers here.” – Prachi Sharma, CEO of Craft Men India |
